How does this work?
Based on the instrument type, 2 or even 3 microphones can be activated in a S700 hearing system. These directional microphones take care of optimal speech intelligibility even in noisy surroundings. In addition the signal optimization of S700 uncovers speech by fast and smooth fading of the background noise.

Even in cases with moving noise sources the directional technology of S700 shows optimal results: it adapts rapidly to new situations and noise sources, so you won't miss any important conversation.

Soft fading
When S700 adapts the signal processing to another hearing situation: e. g. it changes from the noise in a loud coffee shop to traffic noise you will hardly notice the transition. It happens very smoothly and fully automatically, with no need for adjustments by the hearing instrument user.
